A very popular wedding venue north of Ligonier, IN, on St. Rd. 5.
Not only was this our biggest exterior, but it’s on display for a lot of people to see.
Challenges we overcame: It rained every other day on this job, and we had 10 days till the first wedding to get it done.
We worked till 9PM one day to get the shutters done so we could put them up the next day.
We left at 4PM on a Friday afternoon while the bridal party was pulling in.

Wallpaper Removal
Wallpaper jobs can be very difficult at times. We have a system down that causes very little damage to drywall, therefore, requires minimal to no skim coating. In this job, we didn’t have to do any skim coating, primed the wallpaper areas with Gardz, a problem surface sealer that needs to be applied after any wallpaper removal. I filled and fixed screw pops. This job I did on my own and took me 4 days from start to finish.
The paint I used was O’Leary Vintage 30, which is a very durable ceramic paint. The color was proper gray, and everything went really smoothly.
From Wallpaper Mess To Beautiful Space
This job was in Columbia City, IN. This was our very first wallpaper removal job; we had never skim-coated before this one.
Challenges we overcame: The mud was mixed to thin, therefore caused way more coats. Had it been mixed with a thicker consistency, it would’ve turned out better. We didn’t have any 2,’ and 3′ skim blades, which causes a lot more lift-offs, unevenness, and more sanding.
We got it done, and the customer was happy!
